Intrastat guides

On behalf of HMRC, AHDB have produced reference guides for trade classifications. These guides help to ensure that the correct commodity codes are used to complete arrivals and dispatches information.

Arrivals

The arrivals guide helps importers to complete all paperwork required with correct commodity codes to ensure accuracy in HMRC data.

Wheat and Barley Trade Classification Reference Guide

Valid from January 2012. HMRC will inform if future changes are made to these codes. Up to date information on all trade codes and tariffs can be found at the governments trade tariffs page.

1001 9190 Other wheat seed for sowing (excl. durum, common wheat, meslin and spelt)
1003 1000 Barley seed for sowing
1003 9000 Barley (excl. seed for sowing)
